
ThunderBolts Begin Season On Wednesday

Crestwood, IL - The Windy City ThunderBolts begin the 2007 Frontier League season with a two-game series against the Rockford RiverHawks at Hawk Ford Field on Wednesday, May 23 and Thursday, May 24.
Opening Night will feature magnet schedules presented by National City for the first 1,000 fans and there will also be a postgame fireworks display. First pitch for Opening Night is set for 7:05 PM.
Opening Series continues with the first Miller Lite Thirsty Thursday of the season. Draft beers and fountain sodas are only $1.00 all game long. Thursday's game will also start at 7:05 PM.
New ThunderBolts manager Andy Haines takes command and will try to improve a team that went 41-54 in 2006 and finished fourth in the West Division. Rockford won the division with a 49-47 mark. The divisions have been realigned with two expansion teams joining the league, but Windy City and Rockford will remain rivals in the new Central Division.
