Tarek Baker's (University of Wisconsin) goal streak continues to roll for the Thunder as the Verona, WI native scored his eighth goal in five games. The Friday night goal, 15 seconds into the game, also broke a record as the fastest goal ever scored by the team. Baker leads the team with 22 points (13g, 9a) and is one of three players to already eclipse their USHL point totals from 2014-15.

Defenseman Jeremy Davies (Northeastern University) scored his sixth of the season and is also on a point streak. The second year player from Montreal, QC has four points (1g, 3a) in as many games. Also scoring was Jake Durflinger for his ninth of the season and Sean Harrison (Union College) netted his first goal in 19 games. It was also Harrison's first game back after missing the last two.

Team USA's Under-17 team has played 17 out of the Development Program's 31 games this season. Overall they are 3-12-1-1 with all three wins over the Muskegon Lumberjacks. Friday night they topped the Lumberjacks 6-4 with Sean Dhooghe (Ohio State University) and Grant Mismash (University of North Dakota) each scoring two for the 17's. A four-goal surge in the third period gave them the win after being down 4-2. They were also 2-for-5 on the power play as Dylan St. Cyr (University of Michigan) turned away 23 shots for the win.

Scott Reedy (University of Minnesota) has 20 points (6g, 14a) playing in all 17 games for the 17's and is the second leading scorer for Team USA behind U-18 forward Clayton Keller (Boston University). The 17's average 3.06 goals for per game, but young goaltending has hurt them allowing 4.53 goals against.
