Charlotte Krunk News Release
Cabbarus County, NC. Head Coach Brian Rowsom of the ABA Carolina Thunder today announced that the team will have a definite NBA look with the signing of three former NBA players for the upcoming season. According to Rowsom, "We've received many calls asking about the calibre of play in the ABA. I can tell you first hand that it is very high quality with some outstanding talent - and the players we have are no exception."
He continued, "Randy Livington played with the LA Clippers, Houston Rockets and several other NBA teams; Byron Dinkins played with the Indiana Pacers and Houston Rockets and is a graduate of UNC Charlotte (everyone knows Byron), and Cris Robinson played with the Sacramento Kings and Vancover Grizzlies - all are very special talents and all are definitely NBA quality. Fans should love this team. And of course, we are fan-friendly and affordable."
