Maryland NightHawks News Release
Upper Marlboro, MD. The Maryland NightHawks attended the Hip Hop Hooray Summit on Saturday, October 9, which focused on empowering the youth.
"The Kettering Civic Federation & the Officers really did a good job of putting this event together. The players enjoyed bringing such a lively and spirited atmosphere. It was a lot of fun, we were all honored to be there and we hope to participate in their next event," commented Andrew Haines, NightHawks' Owner. The Hip Hop Hooray Teen Summit was an all around success. Some of the top figures from the state of Maryland were there to support the teens and the high-ranked radio station (FM 95.5) kept the crowd lively. The teens of the area that participated gained excellent exposure to model figures and mixed their daydreams with the possibilities of their futures.
The NightHawks' presence did the teens well. The players were prime examples of where your goals can take you with a little hard work, determination and focus in school.
The NightHawks will have another go at empowering the youth this Saturday, October 16 at 9:30AM at PGC Community College, next to Largo High School.
The Maryland NightHawks is the new professional Men's Professional Basketball Team in the area. The NightHawks join the legendary American Basketball Association (ABA) as one of the most promising up and coming expansion teams.
