
Thunder Names New GM

WICHITA, KS- The Wichita Thunder announced today that President Chris Presson has resigned to pursue other opportunities and promoted Senior Vice President Joel T. Lomurno to General Manager of the club.
Lomurno, in his 16th season with the organization, will handle the day-to-day operations of the Thunder, including the search for a new head coach.
"I am thrilled with this opportunity and grateful to Chris for everything he did to bring our organization to where we are now", said Lomurno. "My sole priority is to hire a head coach in the immediate future and will devote 100% of my efforts toward ensuring the continued success of the Thunder here in Wichita."
Josh Robertson will continue his role as general manager of the Wichita Wingnuts. The Wingnuts continue their six-game home stand tonight, when they host the Lincoln Saltdogs at 7:05 p.m.
