Edinburg, Texas - Luis Noel kept the McAllen Thunder (25-45) off the board during his six innings of work and the Rio Grande Valley White Wings (40-29) beat the McAllen Thunder, 7-0.
Noel (6-2) struck out six and allowed four walks and one hit.
The Rio Grande Valley White Wings blew out the McAllen Thunder thanks to 10 hits, including a two-run home run by Leivi Ventura in the ninth inning.]
Jeff Sakowski (0-2) took the loss for the Thunder lasting six innings, walking two, and allowed four runs.
The Rio Grande Valley White Wings' Leugim Barroso, Ventura and Jacinto Cipriota combined for five hits and three RBIs.
Craig Hertler and Nelson Teilon got the only hits for the Thunder on offense.
The Thunder and White Wings will play the seventh of their eight game series on Tuesday night at Edinburg Baseball Stadium with the first pitch at 7:05 p.m.
