The Aberdeen Wings were on the road taking on the Minnesota Magicians. In what would be a defensive battle, the Wings would come away with a 2-1 win. Colin Raver got the Wings on the board first with a goal at the 12:13 mark of the 2nd period. This would be Ravers first goal of the season. Assisting Colin were Grant Dukus & Matt Sherman. The lead wouldn't last long however as the magicians would answer just minutes later. The score remained tied until midway though the 3rd period when Gavin Payne put the Wings on top for good with assists going to Carter Roo & Tucker DeYoung. Gavin Paczosa was solid in net for the Wings stopping 26 of the 27 shots he faced.

The Wings are at the Odde this Friday night for the regular season home opener vs the Brookings Blizzard. Tickets are on sale now at any of the 4 C-Express locations in Aberdeen or upgrade to reserved by calling Aaron at 605-380-5852! Doors open at 5:30 and the puck always drops at 7:15! Bring your skates and Skate with the Wings after the game! The Aberdeen Hockey Association will also be putting on a concert featuring Bad Dawg in the Expo Building after the game!
