
Threshers Doubleheaders on June 1 & 3

Clearwater Threshers News Release
The Clearwater Threshers will play some extra baseball this weekend with a pair of doubleheaders at Spectrum Field.
On Friday, June 1, the Threshers will be completing a suspended game from May 19 with the Florida Fire Frogs. The game will resume in the 6th inning with no score. After the completion of the suspended game, the Fire Frogs and Threshers will play a 7-inning contest. Gates will open at 4:30 p.m. for the 5 p.m. first game.
Friday is also a $0.25 Hot Dog Night and be sure to stay after the games for an EDM Concert and Laser Display by local musicians, Laser Assassins.
Sunday, June 3, will see the Fire Frogs and Threshers playing a doubleheader with two 7-inning games as a make-up of a May 20 rainout between the teams. Gates open at 12 p.m. for the 1 p.m. first game. Bring your dog on Sunday for the Dog Days of Summer by Crooked Thumb Brewery. Proceeds from the $6 dog tickets are donated to a different local pet charity each Sunday.
