Three Sellouts Highlight Week

NEW YORK – Three sellouts were recorded in Week 3, bringing the 2003 season total to six. The League had four sellouts for the entire 2002 regular season.

The Colorado Crush logged its third consecutive sellout (17,417) at Denver's Pepsi Center, while home openers for the Georgia Force (11,200) and Grand Rapids Rampage (10,594) took place before full-capacity crowds at The Arena at Gwinnett Center and Van Andel Arena, respectively. The 2002 regular season had four total sellouts, three in Grand Rapids and one in Arizona.

The 2003 three-week cumulative average attendance of 12,394 is up 21 percent vs. the first three weeks of 2002 (10,213). The 12,394 figure is up 25 percent vs. the final 2002 season average of 9,957. Last season's average attendance was up 8.8 percent vs. 2001.
