Chris Parmelee's single in the top of the tenth inning scored Joe Benson as the Snappers took the lead and headed on to a 5-2 victory over the Great Lakes Loons in Midland, Michigan last night.

Beloit's starter, David Bromberg, pitched six strong innings allowing only one run and two hits, while striking out nine and walking three.

Erik Kanaby lead off the inning by reaching base on a fielding error by Snappers shortstop Ramon Santana. After reaching second on a sacrifice, Kanaby scored on a double by Andrew Lambo.

Joe Benson started off the top of the tenth for the Snappers with a triple to center field. After a Ben Revere walk and a fly out to right field, Parmelee knocked in the game-winning RBI on a single up the middle. Beloit scored two more times in the frame to get to the final score of 5-2.
