Colorado Springs Sky Sox News Release
TUCSON - The Colorado Rockies announced this afternoon that three players have been optioned to the minor leagues, three other players have been reassigned to minor league camp, and one player was released.
Infielder Clint Barmes, outfielder Cory Sullivan, and right-handed pitcher Ubaldo Jimenez have all been optioned to Colorado Springs (AAA). Infielder Erick Almonte, left-handed pitcher Mike Gallo and right-handed pitcher Matt Herges were reassigned to minor league camp. Right-handed pitcher Danny Graves was released.
The Rockies now have 31 players on the major league spring training roster, including 4 non-roster players.
