SCHAUMBURG, Ill. - Experience the BOOM in Schaumburg this summer as the Boomers get ready to roll out a second season full of outrageous theme nights, gotta-have-em giveaways, and wacky promotions--all presented with the first-class brand of family-friendly, affordable fun and entertainment fans have come to associate with Chicagoland's newest minor league baseball franchise.

Dedicated to bringing you the highest level of customer service, in-game entertainment, and of course baseball, the Schaumburg Boomers are proud to announce the Promotional Schedule for the First Half of the 2013 Season! While every home game features free parking and the ability for EVERYONE to run the bases after the game, the Boomers have cooked up a full slate of awesome promotions to put a smile on the face of every fan that walks through the gates this season!

"Fun at our ballpark is about a whole lot more than baseball, and that's why we're so pleased to announce this exciting promotional calendar" Boomers President and General Manager Andy Viano said. "Every game is a party and every party has its theme, so if you're looking for something fun, something different and something that will send you home with a few dollars still left in your pocket, a Boomers game is the place to be in Chicagoland this summer!"

The second season of Boomers Baseball kicks off on Thursday, May 16 at 6:30 p.m., and the first 4,000 fans through the gate will receive an Orange Rally Towel, courtesy of the Boomers Founding Partners- Wintrust Community Banks, ATI Physical Therapy, and Salvi, Schostok & Pritchard P.C. Law Offices. The fun continues the very next night, as the Boomers encourage you to come in costume to help us celebrate Halloween a little bit early with Field of Screams followed by the first spectacular fireworks show of the season! Our Pre-Game Parade, concourse Trick-or-Treating, and on-field costume contest will have you screaming for more Boomers Baseball fun! Rounding out the Opening Weekend excitement, the Boomers will host a Pajama Party at the Park on Saturday, May 18 at 6 p.m.

The excitement continues with Kids Day on Wednesday, May 29 at 11 a.m., as the Schaumburg Boomers invite all area schools to send their students out to the stadium for an afternoon of fun in the sun! What better way to reward your students for another productive year in the classroom, as well as celebrate the start of summer, than with a Schaumburg Boomers baseball game? And make sure to mark your calendars for Friday, May 31 as the Boomers celebrate Disney Night at the ballpark, complete with Post-Game Fireworks! Brush up on your Disney trivia and get ready for Disney-themed music all night long as we transform Boomers Stadium into the Happiest Place on Earth!

June is jam-packed with fun at Boomers Stadium, kicked off with the World's Largest Marshmallow Fight on Saturday, June 1. You know you've always wanted to be a part of a marshmallow fight, so grab some ammo and get yourself down to the ballpark!

After a successful 2012 debut, the Schaumburg Boomers Day Camp Days are back in 2013, with the first fun-filled game slated for Wednesday, June 19 at 11 a.m. The good times keep on rolling in Schaumburg, with Coop's Birthday Party scheduled for Sunday, June 23. You won't want to miss the furriest, craziest party of the season!

July starts off with a BANG in Boomer Country, as we celebrate Independence Day with THREE consecutive days of fireworks from July 3-5. The Boomers look to wrap up the first half of the season with a trifecta of exciting promotions, starting off with a visit from everyone's favorite Star Wars characters from the 501st Legion on Star Wars Night on Friday, July 12. There will be a Pre-Game Costume Parade, Star Wars-themed fireworks music, and so much more! Come on back the very next night for the fan favorite Jimmy Buffett Night on Saturday, July 13. And for the first half finale, the Boomers are bringing back a season one highlight with the World's Largest Squirt Gun Fight scheduled for Sunday, July 14. Whether you want to get soaked or chill out in our No Squirt Zone, you won't want to miss this unique staple of Boomers fun! Don't forget to bring your own Super Soaker!
