Three Defensive Linemen Added to Roster

The Calgary Stampeders have signed a trio of international defensive linemen - Kevin Prosser, Tee Sims and Darnell Thompson.

Here is more information on the players, who will report for rookie camp next week at McMahon Stadium:

Kevin Prosser

Defensive lineman

College: Wyoming

Height: 6.02

Weight: 227

Born: Apr. 30, 1997

Birthplace: Aurora, CO

International

Prosser played 47 games over four seasons at Wyoming. He recorded 90 career tackles as a member of the Cowboys including 20 tackles for loss and also had 11.5 sacks, two forced fumbles, one interception and four pass breakups. The interception came in a 2017 game against Utah State, with Prosser returning the ball 28 yards for a touchdown.

Tee Sims

College: Appalachian State

Height: 6.03

Weight: 250

Born: Feb. 19, 1995

Birthplace: Covington, GA

International

Sims played three seasons at Appalachian State and played 26 games including 13 starts for the Mountaineers. For his collegiate career, he recorded 83 total tackles including 25.5 tackles for loss and 16.5 sacks. Sims earned first-team all-Sun Belt Conference honours as a senior after recording 9.5 sacks and 13.5 tackles for loss in 10 games. He transferred to Appalachian State from Georgia Military College, where he played two seasons.

Darnell Thompson

College: Colorado State

Height: 6.04

Weight: 280

Born: Apr. 19, 1994

Birthplace: Raleigh, NC

International

In 31 games including 25 starts over three seasons at Colorado State, Thompson recorded 66 total tackles including 8.5 tackles for loss. Thompson also had 3.5 sacks and two pass breakups. He started his collegiate career at Highland Community College in Highland, Kan., and recorded 13 tackles, one sack and two fumble recoveries.
