Three Chiefs ranked by Central Scouting

Three Chiefs have landed on the Central Scouting Bureau's mid-season ranking, including forward Drayson Bowman who played in the CHL's Top Prospect Game on January 17th. Bowman was ranked 44th among North American skaters after showing up ninth in the WHL in the CSB's preliminary rankings. Through Tuesday, Bowman has a six game point scoring streak with four goals and six points. In 50 games, Bowman has 20 goals, three better than he scored as a 16-year-old rookie last year, and 33 points.
"Drayson has been very good for us right before the Top Prospects game and has continued that through this last road trip. He has shown a lot of confidence in his game," Chiefs Head Coach Bill Peters said.
Justin Falk, an 18-year-old from Snowflake, MB, is ranked 112th for North American skaters. Falk is in his second full season in the WHL and has appeared in 50 games with two goals and 12 points. The 6'5" defenseman is second on the team with a +9 rating.
"Justin has added a physical dimension to his game and has become harder to play against," Peters explained.
Ondrej Roman, the Chiefs first round selection in the CHL Import draft, is leading the Chiefs in scoring thanks to his 39 assists, seventh in the WHL and has been ranked 136th for North American based players. Roman hails from Ostrava-Poruba, Czech Republic.
"Ondøej has now played over 50 games in North America and we need to continue to see improvement and have him be a factor on our team each and every night," Peters said.
The NHL Entry Draft will take place on June 23rd in Columbus, Ohio.
