
Three Blades among NHL Central Scouting Final Rankings

Saskatoon, SK - The NHL's Central Scouting Services released their 2009 NHL Entry Draft final rankings today and the Blades were well represented with Burke Gallimore, Adam Morrison, and Stefan Elliott all making the list.
Stefan Elliott is ranked 17th among North American skaters. He built off a strong rookie campaign this season by improving in all statistical categories in his 2nd year in the Western Hockey League. In 71 regular season games, Elliott posted 16 goals, 39 assists, for a total of 55 points to go along with a +20 rating. In 7 playoff games he registered 1 goal and 3 assists. Elliott is currently representing Team Canada at the Under 18 Men's Hockey Championship in Fargo, North Dakota.
Burke Gallimore is ranked 71st among North American skaters, improving upon his midterm ranking. Gallimore registered very impressive numbers (26G, 27A, 56PTS) during his first full season in the WHL. Acquired last season from the Spokane Chiefs, Gallimore played a large role in helping the Saskatoon Blades capture their first East Division Banner in 15 years.
Rookie goaltender Adam Morrison is the 24th ranked goaltender in North America for the upcoming NHL Entry Draft in Montreal. In 13 games played this season Morrison recorded 9 wins, including a 29 save, 1-0 shutout in Prince Albert in his first ever WHL start.
