Button Jumps Up in Central Scouting Rankings

Prince Albert, Saskatchewan - National Hockey League Central Scouting Service released their final rankings for the 2009 Entry Draft today, and Prince Albert Raiders defenceman Ryan Button jumped 13 spots from the mid term ranking. Button is now touted as the 23rd North American skater available for the draft in the NHL CSR up from 36th at the mid point of the season.

NHL CSS released the names of the top 210 skaters and 30 goaltenders playing in North America eligible for the draft in Montreal June 26th and 27th today.

Raider Goaltender Steven Stanford is still listed by the CSS as a possible draft pick.

Button has been invited to the NHL Combine in Toronto May 25-30. NHL Central Scouting brings together the top 104 ranked players in North America and Europe to go through a vigorous round of physical, mental and psychological tests and shares all the results with the 30 NHL teams.
