
Thorns FC Set to Participate in 2024 Coachella Valley Invitational

Portland Thorns FC News Release
PORTLAND, Ore. - Portland Thorns FC announced today that the club will participate in the 2024 Coachella Valley Invitational hosted by AEG. The preseason matches at CVI featuring NWSL teams will take place in Indio, Calif., at the Empire Polo Club from Feb. 20-24. Thorns FC preseason is presented by Old Trapper Beef Jerky.
Expanding upon the MLS preseason event, four NWSL teams will gather for exhibition matches, including Thorns FC, Angel City FC, Bay FC and San Diego Wave FC. Portland will face San Diego on Saturday, Feb. 24 at 11 a.m. (Pacific).
Passes for all matches are on sale to the public at CoachellaValleyInvitational.com. Additional details about the event, including media accreditation for the Coachella Valley Invitational, will be announced in the coming weeks.
