
Thorns FC Exercise 2018 Contract Options on Four Players

PORTLAND, Ore. - Portland Thorns FC today announced that the club has exercised the 2018 contract options on four players.
The players whose options were exercised for the 2018 season are: midfielders Ashleigh Sykes and Tyler Lussi, forward Savannah Jordan and defender Emily Menges.
Goalkeepers Adrianna Franch and Britt Eckerstrom, defenders Katherine Reynolds and Celeste Boureille, midfielders Dagny Brynjarsdottir and Meg Morris and forwards Hayley Raso and Mallory Weber have been extended new contract offers with announcements pending.
Canada forward Christine Sinclair and U.S. midfielders Tobin Heath, Lindsey Horan, Allie Long and defenders Meghan Klingenberg and Emily Sonnett also remain on the roster.
Thorns FC declined the 2018 contract option on defender Kendall Johnson who has been placed on the NWSL Re-Entry Wire.
Midfielder Amandine Henry and forward Nadia Nadim will not return in 2018. Henry has signed with Olympique Lyon in France, while Nadim is set to join Manchester City Women in England.
