
FC Kansas City Exercises Options on Eight Players

KANSAS CITY (Oct. 23, 2017) - FC Kansas City today announced that the team has exercised the 2018 contract options on eight players, with several other players being extended new contract offers.
Players whose options were exercised for the 2018 season are: defenders Yael Averbuch, Christina Gibbons and Sydney Miramontez; midfielders Caroline Flynn and Mandy Laddish and forwards Shea Groom, Maegan Kelly and Brittany Ratcliffe.
Defenders Alex Arlitt, Becca Moros and Brittany Kolmel (nee Taylor); midfielders Katie Bowen, Lo'eau LaBonta, Alexa Newfield and Erika Tymrak; and goalkeepers Nicole Barnhart and Cat Parkhill are out of contract and have been extended new contract offers.
Canada midfielder Desiree Scott along with USA forwards Amy Rodriguez, Sydney Leroux and defender Becky Sauerbrunn remain on the club's roster as Federation Players.
