
Thorns FC Announce Roster Ahead Opening Match of 2023 Season

Portland Thorns FC News Release
PORTLAND, Ore. - Portland Thorns FC today announced their roster ahead of their first match of the 2023 season against the Orlando Pride on March 26 at Providence Park; kickoff is set for 2 p.m. (Pacific) on FOX 12 PLUS and Paramount+.
Portland will begin the opening week of the season with 24 players on their active roster. Thorns FC remain in contract negotiations with the fifth overall pick in the 2023 NWSL Draft defender Reyna Reyes, while forward Lauren DeBeau, who was drafted by the club in the second round of the 2023 NWSL Draft, is no longer with the team and her rights have been released. Janine Beckie has been added to the season-ending injury list.
