North Carolina Courage News Release


The Courage begin their 2023 regular season this Saturday, March 25, at 2:00 p.m. ET against the Kansas City Current. Gates open at 12:30 p.m. ET for the new FanFest experience. The game will be broadcast live on Paramount+ and the matchup features several story lines and themes:

A New Era with Merz Aesthetics: Saturday brings the debut of the new front-of-jersey partner in an expanded sponsorship with Merz Aesthetics aimed to empower and encourage women. The Courage and Merz Aesthetics have teamed with Dress for Success to host a purse drive at the season opener.

New Faces Debut: Nine new Courage players hit WakeMed Soccer Park for the first time, including four first-round draft picks, the homecoming of USWNT member Emily Fox, and exciting international signings Mille Gejl (Denmark) and Narumi Miura (Japan).

Return of Debinha: After 100 regular season games in a Courage uniform, one of the world's biggest stars returns as a visitor for the first time after signing as a free agent with Kansas City this off-season.
