
Thomas Suspended Nine Games by SPHL

HUNTERSVILLE, NC - The Southern Professional Hockey League (SPHL) on Sunday announced the following suspension:
Mississippi's Leo Thomas has been suspended nine games for his actions in Game #26, Mississippi at Pensacola, played on November 11, 2015.
At the 16:13 mark of the second period, Thomas was assessed a major penalty and game misconduct for spearing.
Thomas sat out the RiverKings' contest against Macon on Friday, November 13 and will miss Mississippi's games against Knoxville (November 20, 27 and 28), Huntsville (November 24 and December 3), Peoria (December 4 and 5) and Columbus (December 8).
The RiverKings are back on Concorde Career College Ice at the Landers Center next on Friday, November 20 for 80s Night presented by Citizen's National Bank. All fans born in the 80s with a valid ID get half off all tickets and all fans in their 80s get in free. The MVP Non-Profit is the North Mississippi Trail Alliance.
