HUNTERSVILLE, NC (November 15, 2015) - The Southern Professional Hockey League (SPHL) on Sunday announced the following suspension:
Mississippi's Leo Thomas
Mississippi's Leo Thomas has been suspended nine games for his actions in Game #26, Mississippi at Pensacola, played on November 11, 2015.
At the 16:13 mark of the second period, Thomas was assessed a major penalty and game misconduct for spearing.
Thomas sat out the RiverKings' contest against Macon on Friday, November 13 and will miss Mississippi's games against Knoxville (November 20, 27 and 28), Huntsville (November 24 and December 3), Peoria (December 4 and 5) and Columbus (December 8).
