Cleveland Force News Release
Forward Ato Leone has now appeared in 41 straight games. Leone played in all 36 games for the Harrisburg Heat a year ago.
Defender Hector Marinaro has once again started another streak. Marinaro has recorded at least a block in 10 straight games. In those 10 games, Marinaro has tallied 24 blocks. In addition, Marinaro has scored at least a point in 61 of the last 62 games.
TOUR D' FORCE:
The Cleveland Force will hold its Tour D' Force again this season when the team will hold a 60-minute off-site training session at various indoor facilities throughout the Cleveland area. The first training session will be this Wednesday, November 12 at NEO Soccer located at 20064 Westwood Drive in Strongsville from 7:00-8:00 p.m. The training session will feature a 60-minute full team practice followed by an autograph session. Directions to NEO Soccer can be found in the Community Section on the Force website at www.clevelandforce.com.
CLOSING IN:
Forward Zoran Karic and goalkeeper Otto Orf are both closing in on career milestones. Karic, who recorded his first points of the season last Saturday, needs just 15 points to reach 2,100 career points while Orf needs to stop one more shot for his 7,000 career save. Already this season Jim Larkin reached the first Force milestone of the season when he tallied his 1,500 career save on November 1.
CHAMPIONSHIP THEME:
The Force will face the defending MISL Champion Baltimore Blast for the first time this season on Friday night. The game will also be the first time the two teams have met since the 2003 MISL Eastern Conference Semi-Final game that the Blast ended up winning by a final score of 16-13. The Blast won an impressive three road games to secure the title. Cleveland was 0-3 at the 1st Mariner Arena last season and dropped the season series 2-4. The last time the Force has won in Baltimore was on April 13, 2002 when the Crunch defeated the Blast 16-10.

Directions to the Force Fitness Indoor Soccer Facility in Warrensville Heights: The facility is located across from Thistledown Race Track on Northfield Road.
>From the West: Take Route 480 East to Northfield Road Exit and take a left on Northfield. The soccer center will be a mile and half down on your right-hand side.
>From the East: Take 480 West to the Miles Road Exit and take a right onto Miles. Proceed to Northfield Road and take a right; the practice center will be a mile down on the right.
FORCE COACH'S SHOW:
Head Coach Andy Schmetzer and a Force player will join host Al Pawlowski every Thursday night from 9:00-10:00 p.m. on Sports Talk 850 WKNR for the Cleveland Force Coach's Show. Tune in as Coach Schmetzer recaps last week's action and discusses strategies and scouting reports for future opponents.
FORCE RADIO NETWORK:
Cleveland Force fans will be able to follow the club all season long on the Force Radio Network. All thirty-six regular season games, as well as all playoff games will be aired. The flagship station for Force soccer is Sports Talk 850 AM WKNR. Any preempted broadcasts will be covered by sister station WHK 1220 AM.
