Preseason Tourney one month away!

Believe it or not, the Silvertips will be on the ice exactly one month from today to kick off our preseason schedule in the 2014 Holiday Inn Preseason Classic. As the 'Tips face off against Victoria, Spokane and Portland over Labor Day weekend, the 11th annual tournament at Comcast Arena features nine total games between the WHL's five U.S. Division teams and the Victoria Royals (Click Here for the full schedule). Single game tickets for all games go on sale one week from today on Aug. 5, but full preseason packages are available now at a $15 savings when you purchase before Aug. 25.

Davis, Juulsen look to impress at U-18 Camp

Second-year Silvertips defensemen Kevin Davis and Noah Juulsen are headed to Calgary this weekend for Canada's National Men's Summer Under-18 Team selection camp. 44 of Canada's top 1997-born players will be trying to earn roster spots for the upcoming 2014 U18 Ivan Hlinka Memorial Cup, which runs Aug. 11-16 in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. The tournament is a good showcase opportunity for players entering their NHL Draft year, so good luck to Noah & Kevin!

Peter Mueller shoots for NHL return

Former Silvertips great Peter Mueller is heading to the Gateway City this fall in hopes of making an NHL comeback. Mueller signed a two-way contract with the St. Louis Blues today that could also see him playing in the AHL during the coming year. The Silvertips' first NHL draft pick in 2006, Mueller played parts of five seasons with the Phoenix Coyotes, Colorado Avalanche and Florida Panthers before spending last season overseas in Switzerland.
