Thirsty Thursdays Highlight Road Warriors Food Specials

GREENVILLE, SC - The Greenville Road Warriors announced today that, in conjunction with CenterPlate Catering, they will offer many exciting specials on food and beverages at their home games this season. Highlighting the new promotions is their season-long THIRSTY THURSDAY special.

"Thanks to our friends and partners at CenterPlate and BI-LO Center, we are excited to be able to offer our great fans food and drink specials that are equal to, or better than, any other sporting event or entertainment option in the Upstate. The Road Warriors' goal is to provide affordable, family-friendly entertainment and these specials are a major aspect of that," said Road Warriors president and general manager Neil Smith.

Beginning with the Road Warriors' home opener on Thursday, October 21 every Thursday home game at the BI-LO Center will be a THIRSTY THURSDAY. On THIRSTY THURSDAYS fountain sodas and select draft beers will be just $1. The THIRSTY THURSDAY will run nine times over the course of the 2010-11 season. In addition to THIRSTY THURSDAYS, the Road Warriors will offer up three other great food specials.

At each home game this season, young Warriors fans can get KIDS' MEALS which feature a hot dog, pretzel, chips, and a small fountain soda for $5. Tuesday home games will bring 2-FER TUESDAYS which will feature two center ice tickets, two hot dogs, two popcorns, and two small fountain sodas and will cost just $30. That offer will be valid for the games on December 14, 2010 and February 8, 2011. During Friday home games, FRIDAY FAMILY FOUR-PACKS will get you four tickets, four hot dogs, four pretzels, four bags of chips, and four small fountain sodas for $48. With 11 home games on Friday nights, there will be plenty of chances to take advantage of that offer.
