Macon Trax News Release

[Macon Ga.] –On Thursday, December 18, the Trax will introduce "Thirsty Thursday!" with two-for-one drafts. In addition, all college students will receive one dollar off their ticket price, with their student IDs.

Come watch the Trax take on the Jacksonville Barracudas as the WHA2's best rivalry returns to Macon. This season, the Barracudas have won all three previous meetings and Jacksonville Head Coach Ron Duguay has stated that he feels he can control the game in Macon's building.

Start your weekend early with "Thirsty Thursday!" The Trax invite all adults 21 and older to take advantage of this rare promotion. The Trax ask all fans to "conduct" themselves properly by finding a designated driver for the night.

Tickets start as low as eight dollars and there is not a bad seat to be had at the Macon Centreplex. If that isn't enough, all college students will receive one dollar off their ticket. This is a great way for college students to celebrate the end of first semester.

Tickets are available at the Macon Trax hockey office and all Ticketmaster outlets. Call 478-742-4849 for more information or stop by the Trax office located in the Macon Centreplex.

The Trax have a busy weekend as they play three games in three days. After "Thirsty Thursday!" the Orlando Seals return to town on Friday, Dec. 19. The Trax will try to avenge last weekend's loss. On Saturday, the Trax will make their first road trip to Alabama. Puck drop against the Slammers is 8:05pm.
