In the eighth inning, Arby Fields led off by smacking his first home run of the season, a solo shot over the right field fence, to pull Traverse City within one. Will Kengor walked later in the inning then Luke Lowery swatted a two run shot to left, his first long ball of the year, to tie the game at four. In the 11th, with the tie-breaker rule in effect, Lohr doubled in Lowery for the Bums' first lead of the game. In the bottom of the inning, Bryan De La Rosa scored two with a single down the left field line to end the game.
