Marion, IL - The Southern Illinois Miners announce that tonight's game against the Normal CornBelters at Rent One Park has been postponed due to the imminent threat of severe thunderstorms in the region Thursday evening.
The teams will make up the contest when the CornBelters return to Marion in August, on Saturday, August 25th, in a doubleheader that will begin at 4:05 p.m. at Rent One Park.
The Miners will return to action on Friday night, June 1st, when they take on the Evansville Otters at 7:05 p.m. For more information, contact the box office at (618) 998-8499.
