Third Place Mystics To Host Chicago Sky

The Washington Mystics have won consecutive games and are currently in the third spot in the Eastern Conference. Washington started the weekend with back to back games. Washington got a convincing 95-78 win over the Chicago Sky. Lindsey Harding and Monique Currie led Washington with 25 and 22 points respectively.

Following an early flight back to Washington, the Mystics faced the New York Liberty for a rematch of last month's game. Washington led the entire game and closed out the back to back games with a 82-65 win. Four Mystics players scored in double figures. Leading the way was Monique Currie with 20 points and a career high six steals.

The Mystics will host its annual Dads and Daughter game on saturday, June 19 when the Chicago Sky make their first appearance at Verizon Center. Tip-off is at 7:00 p.m.
