St. Paul Saints News Release
ST. PAUL, MN (June 21, 2012) - The season is just a month old and the engagement hasn't lasted much longer than that, but it is sure to be the most talked about wedding of the summer. Friends, family and media are all cordially invited to the most lavish event of the year as Kim Lardashian and Kris Hamphries officially tie the knot.
On Friday, June 22 following the 7:05 p.m. game between the St. Paul Saints and Sioux Falls Pheasants Lardashian will walk down the aisle and right into the cloven hooves of Hamphries as they begin their life together until pig roast do them part.
Details are beginning to emerge about the special night including the designer of the dress and who's on the guest list. Lardashian will wear an elegant white Vera Wrine original with a long train on the end and a basque waist. Hamphries will don a form fitting double breasted tuxedo jacket and black tuxedo pants.
The guest list is expected a who's who of the animal world including former Saints four-legged mascots Brat Favre, Garrison Squeallor and the Great Hambino. Rumors are flying around that former Saints mascots Justin Bieboar, Squeal Diamond, The Notorious P.I.G - Piggy Smalls and Hammy Davis Jr. will sing the Nine Inch Nails song "March of the Pigs" as Lardashian walks down the aisle.
Upon entering the ballpark those attending the wedding can drop their gifts off on the gift table in the main concourse (the couple is registered at Menards.seriously). We ask that fans sign the guest book and share their well wishes for the happy couple. Guests can also take part in a Dollar Dance with proceeds benefitting disaster relief for Kim and Kris' friends and relatives at the Lake Superior Zoo in Duluth. Following the game the porcine pair will be wed in a ceremony to remember in front of thousands of fans, friends and family. The reception will begin immediately following the ceremony and will feature the cutting of the cake and the singing of the first dance song by Saints karaoke master Seigo Masubuchi. This magical union will consummated with a fireworks extravaganza presented Xcel Energy.
The Saints have 72 days left in the regular season and take on the Sioux Falls Pheasants in a three game series beginning on Friday evening at 7:05 p.m. Tickets for Saints home games are $5 for general admission, $8 for outfield reserved and $12 for infield reserved. Tickets purchased on the Day of the Game are an additional $1 per ticket. Children under the age of 14 and seniors 65 and older receive $1 off the admission price.
