The Wachusett Dirt Dawgs (6-12) had a tough outing on Friday, as the Pittsfield Suns (9-9) dominated in an 11-5 win at Doyle Field.
The Pittsfield Suns scored five runs in the fourth on the Pittsfield Suns scored in the fourth on , a wild pitch, and a three-run home run by Ryan Olmo.
Olmo racked up four RBIs on one hit for the Pittsfield Suns.
Michael Spada got the win, running his season record to 1-0. He allowed one run over three innings. Spada struck out four, walked none and gave up four hits.
Charlie Murray couldn't get it done on the mound for the Wachusett Dirt Dawgs, taking a loss. He lasted just 3 1/3 innings, walked six, struck out two, and allowed five runs.
