Green Bay Blizzard News Release
Green Bay, WI - The road to the IFL Championship and the United Bowl starts this Saturday night, 7:05pm at the Resch Center as the Green Bay Blizzard battles the Chicago Slaughter. Even though this will be the fourth meeting between these two teams, this is the only game that matters. There are four other first round match ups being played Saturday night and three more games Monday night. The playoff pairings look like this:
United Conference
(1) Richmond vs. (6) Rochester, Monday June 28, 7:00 PM
(2) Sioux Falls vs. (5) Omaha , Saturday June 26, 7:05 PM
(3) Green Bay vs. (8) Chicago, Saturday June 26, 7:05 PM
(4) Wichita vs. (7) Bloomington, Saturday June 26, 7:05 PM
Intense Conference
(1) Billings vs. (6) Tri-Cities, TBD (Tornado damage to arena)
(2) Amarillo vs. (7) West Texas, Monday June 28, 7:00 PM
(3) Arkansas vs. (8) Corpus Christi, Saturday June 26, 7:05 PM
(4) San Angelo vs. (5) Fairbanks, Monday June 28, 7:05 PM
All playoff seeding and match-ups will be finalized Tuesday June 29th. In the event of an upset of one of the top two seeds, either Richmond or Sioux Falls, the Blizzard will host a second round playoff game. The second round game will be played the day after Independence Day, Monday July 5th at 7:05pm. All single game tickets will then go on sale that same Tuesday June 29th at 11:00am at the Ticketstart Box office located inside the Resch Center or at ticketstaronline.com.
