
The Kelowna Rockets fell 6-2 to the Spokane Chiefs in Spokane on Wednesday night.

Spokane opened the scoring with two first period goals including a shorthanded marker. They led 2-0 after 20 minutes.
Conner Bruggen-Cate(4) got the Rockets on the board at 10:53 of the middle frame. Carsen Twarynski(13) scored for Kelowna to even things up just 16 seconds later. Spokane collected two late second period goals to regain a two goal lead. The Chiefs led 4-2 after 40 minutes.
The Chiefs collected two more late in the third to take it 6-2.
James Porter stopped 42 of 46 shots he faced as the Rockets were out shot 46-20.
Kelowna's record falls to 12-8-2-1.
The Rockets close out their three game road trip with a stop back in Langley for a rematch with the Giants on Friday, November 24th. Puck drop for that one is at 7:30pm.
The club returns home on Saturday, November 25th for the first meeting with the Medicine Hat Tigers of the 2017-18 regular season. Puck drop is 7:05pm.
