
The K-Tribe's Chad Wolfe is the Carolina League Trainer of the Year

KINSTON - Kinston trainer Chad Wolfe is the Carolina League Athletic Trainer of the Year. The East Carolina Graduate and North Carolina native is in his second year as head athletic trainer for the Kinston Indians.
Wolfe is in his fifth year as a trainer with-in the Cleveland Indians Organization. Wolfe began in the Cleveland Indians Organization with the short season Mahoning Valley Scrappers in 2004. He was the head trainer for Low A Lake County in 2005 and 2006.
Wolfe has an undergraduate and masters degree from East Carolina University. While studying at ECU, Wolfe was an athletic training intern with the K-Tribe in 2003.
The Professional Baseball Athletic Trainers Society sponsors the award. Wolfe is now one of seventeen league winners to be considered for Minor League Athletic Trainer of the Year which will be announced and awarded at the Winter Meetings.
There are just two home games left for the K-Tribe at Historic Grainger Stadium. Tonight is our final Fireworks extravaganza of the season, game time 7pm against the Wilmington Blue Rocks. The K-Tribe's regular season home schedule ends on Saturday, August 23rd with Star Wars Night II - The Empire Strikes Back. The fan favorite is back, as characters from the Star Wars Universe invade Grainger Stadium. Darth Vadar, Stormtroopers, Han Solo and more out of this world guests are scheduled to appear. Game time 7pm!
