NEXT HOME GAME... The Fire has a bye over the Fourth of July weekend, but will return home on July 10 to face the Columbus Wardogs at 7:30 p.m. in Freedom Hall. The first 1,000 fans in attendance will receive a Louisville Fire hat courtesy of Wolford Printing. The Kentucky Karma and Cincinnati Sizzle of the National Women's Football Association will play and exhibition game. The Sizzle is coached by former Cincinnati Bengal Ickey Woods. Casey will perform a post-game concert courtesy of Radio Disney FIRE FALLS TO MANCHESTER... It looked like it was going to be a back and forth scoring battle early on as the Fire led 21-13 with just over 9:00 minutes to go in the first half. From that point on it was all Manchester as the Wolves defeated the Fire 49-28.

SABERCATS WIN SECOND ARENABOWL... It was everything Arena Football is meant to be and in the end the San Jose Sabercats defeated the Arizona Rattlers 69-62. It came right down to the last play but the Sabercats were able to hang on and win their second ArenaBowl in three years. San Jose and Arizona combined to break or tie 17 individual or team records during ArenaBowl XVIII. The AFL will return to NBC for a third season next February.
