Laredo Law News Release
LAREDO, Texas â The Laredo Law had some time off as they enjoyed a bye week. The Law is now back at work and preparing for their upcoming game this weekend. Laredo will host the Tulsa Talons this Saturday, and fireworks will be shot off after the game outside the Laredo Entertainment Center. Call the Law ticket office at (956)-726-GAME (4263) or log onto www.laredolaw.com.
The Law is coming off a 58-39 loss at Oklahoma City, which was their fourth consecutive defeat, but they look for some home cooking this weekend to help them get back on the winning path. Laredo beat the defending ArenaCup Champion Talons 57-48 on May 15th at the LEC for the first win in Law franchise history.
Despite a 2-9 record, the Law is still alive in the arenafootball2 playoff chase. Out of 25 teams in af2, just two teams have currently been mathematically eliminated. With only five weeks remaining in the regular season, there are still six division titles and 12 playoff spots up for grabs.
Tickets can be purchased for this Saturday's game for just $5, seating is limited. The Law will celebrate the Fourth of July holiday this weekend with one dollar hotdogs, an apple pie eating contest, music after the game and a spectacular fireworks display into the nighttime Laredo sky.
Beat the heat this weekend and let the LEC cool you off with their air conditioning as the Law battle the Tulsa Talons on Saturday.
