VISALIA, CA - Multiple members of the defending National Champion Fresno State University baseball team will be present at Recreation Park next Saturday.
The Bulldogs, who completed a remarkable and unexpected run to the championship in June, will throw out the ceremonial first pitch and be available for autographs.
Currently, the following members of the team are scheduled to appear: Tom Mendonca, Steve Detwiler, Nick Hom, Gene Escat, Holden Sprague, Gavin Hedstrom, and Danny Grubb.
The evening also happens to be Poster Night, with fans receiving a free commemorative Oaks poster. As if that weren't enough, the Oaks 3-Millionth all-time fan will likely pass through the turnstiles on Saturday as well! Saturday night promises to be huge at Recreation Park, with prizes, giveaways, and champions alike!
Tickets are still available. Call the Oaks at (559) 625-0480 to reserve your seat, and be sure to arrive early to catch these young athletes who have brought tremendous pride to the entire Central Valley.
