Hamilton Tiger-Cats News Release

The Dirty Nil have been announced as the latest addition to a stacked lineup for the Built in the Hammer Grey Cup Music Festival. The Juno Award winners and Hamilton natives will rock Fan Central on James Street on Thursday, November 16 as part of the SiriusXM Grey Cup Festival Kickoff Party, setting the stage for a weekend combining Hamilton's love of football and music.

"We're very excited to participate in the Grey Cup Festival this year. We've got some surprises planned and we're excited to hammer the city we love with the hits of yesterday, today and tomorrow." Said Luke Bentham of the Dirty Nil

They'll be joined on stage by Montreal new-age punk band NOBRO, whose debut full-length record is available on October 27. The debut record rides the momentum from a string of blazing singles and EPs, capped with 2020's Sick Hustle and 2022's Live Your Truth Shred Some Gnar.

The free-to-attend SiriusXM Grey Cup Festival Kickoff Party will take over Fan Central on James Street downtown Hamilton on Thursday, November 16 from 4:30-8 p.m.

This is the latest in a series of major announcements from the Ticats and the Grey Cup Festival. Carrie Underwood was previously announced as the headline act at FirstOntario Centre on Friday, November 17. Tickets can be purchased here.

More news will roll out soon as the city and region gear up to host Canada's biggest and best party including of course the 110th Grey Cup game, the Championship of the Canadian Football League, at Tim Hortons Field on Sunday, November 19th, where global punk-rock superstars, Green Day, will headline the Twisted Tea Grey Cup Halftime Show.
