SCOUTING REPORT
Toronto FC vs. Chicago Fire
July 29th, Kickoff 3:06 PM ET
TV: CBC (LIVE)
To say that Chicago has suffered through a rough spell as of late would be an understatement. The team has struggled badly to find the net this season, scoring only 13 goals in 16 matches, and they have not won a league match since June 3rd. Chicago has reason to smile right now though, as they are coming off of a positive 1-1 result against Scottish champions Celtic FC. The goal scorer for Chicago in that game was Mexican International Cuauthemoc Blanco [http://mlsefans.com/index.cfm?n35167s630c1347197t646o4748], who looked outstanding in his debut for the club. Blanco had signed with the Fire weeks ago, but is only making his MLS debut this Sunday because he was playing for Mexico in the Copa America, leading Mexico to an impressive third place finish. Blanco is Chicago's first player they have signed in a designated player slot.
