The Moncton Wildcats remain undefeated in regulation time, and on the road Patrick Roy could not destroy the Wildcats streak of games with at least one point, nor could he ruin the Wildcats undefeated on the road streak. The Wildcats beat the Remparts 4-3 in the first game of their three day, three game road trip.
The Remparts opened the scoring at 1:42 of the first. That would prove to be the only even strength goal of the regulation time of the night. Matt Eagles responded for Moncton at 11:31 on a power play. Assists went to Cameron and Barberio.
The Wildcats scored the lone goal of the second period at 12:44 again on the power play. Mark Barberio scored on his old teammate Lavigne with the assist going to Lessard.
