The Story:
Martín Ojeda netted his fifth goal as a Lion after scoring an equalizer against Charlotte FC. The draw helped the Lions move up one spot in the Eastern Conference where they now rank third.
FC Cincinnati ranks as the top club in the Eastern Conference and MLS' best home team with a 12-0-1 record at TQL Stadium.
With Wednesday's draw, Orlando City became the MLS' best road team, leading the league with a 6-3-4 record on the road.
The Lions match against FC Cincinnati serves as their third match in eight days. After the match, the Lions will embark on a break returning to the pitch Sept. 16th where they will host the Columbus Crew.
Quote of the Week:
"We see a team that has a lot of continuity and has been sharp offensively. They still don't have as many goals compared to us and that is something that encourages us to match them up during the game. I think that they have found consistency very early on that has kept them adding points. At home, they are strong and that's our biggest challenge but also is a big motivation."
- Head Coach Oscar Pareja
