The Story:
After going winless against Atlanta United between 2017-2019, Orlando City has gotten the better of the Five Stripes, going 4-2-5 since head coach Oscar Pareja took over in 2020.
After notching his 30th career goal with Orlando City on Tuesday, Facundo Torres has a chance to tie former captain Nani for second all-time on the Club's scoring chart if he can find the back of the net against Atlanta United.
With his goal against Tigres UANL serving as his 30th for the Club all-time, Torres became just the third player in Club history to surpass 30 tallies, joining former Lions Nani (31) and Cyle Larin (44).
Quote of the Week:
"Expect a good game, like always, against Atlanta. This is another derby in the area that is very well known. They're good, they have done a good job in the last year, but we've been better too. We have to be trusting in ourselves and try to accommodate our bodies and have good energy. But mentally we need to be precise and be ready for the match."
-Oscar Pareja
