Bloomington Blaze News Release
Blaze Fans,
Your support was again huge as the Blaze beat the leaders of the Central Hockey League, the Fort Wayne Komets, 4-2 at U.S. Cellular Coliseum! We expected another battle and we got it, and thanks for coming out with us to help us enjoy it!
Jason Dalewants to say thanks after he picked up the game-winning goal!
We need your support for a big weekend when we host the Evansville IceMen on Friday and Saturday! Friday is another Pepsi Date Night, and you know the drill--bring a Pepsi product (Pepsi, Mountain Dew, Sierra Mist, Aquafina,...) to the Coliseum box office when you buy your reserved seat ticket and we'll give you a second ticket free! AND, of course, combo meals are two-fer. We're donating Pepsi products after the game to the Clare House Food Pantry.
Saturday is the annual Guns and Hoses day! The Bloomington police and firefighters play at 4:00 (if you've never seen that game, you're in for a treat; it's pretty competitive!), followed by the Blaze at 7:05. Your ticket gets you in for both games. For the Guns and Hoses game, enter on the south side at the VIP entrance. During the game against Evansville, the Blaze will wear special jerseys (are they ever sharp!) to be auctioned after the game, and as always, Special Olympics Illinois benefits from the proceeds!
