Texas Outlaws Welcome Julio Varela for the 2023-2024 MASL Season

MESQUITE, Texas - The Texas Outlaws proudly announce the signing of midfielder Julio Varela ahead of the 2023-2024 Major Arena Soccer League season.
"We are happy to have Julio on the roster this season and look forward to his contribution to the team this year," said Head Coach Tatu.
Julio Varela is from Watsonville, California and attended Cal State University- Monterey Bay. This will be entering his fifth season in the MASL. In his career, Varela has played in 51 regular-season games, scored 26 goals, and had 19 assists.
Brad Namdar, General Manager and Sporting Director, says, "Julio is a good player, person, and fits the mold in what we are trying to do here at the Outlaws. I look forward to seeing his contribution to the team this year."
Varela is excited to be joining the Outlaws saying, "The Outlaws were one of the most exciting teams to watch. They have a top-class coaching staff, front office, and ownership group. Any player would be thrilled to be part of this program, and I am grateful to the organization."
The Texas Outlaws will begin their season on the road against the Baltimore Blast on December 2nd. They will kick off the first home game of the season against the Kansas City Comets on December 16th at 7:05 pm at Mesquite Arena. Individual and Season Tickets are on sale NOW!
