Texas Legends News Release
Frisco, TX, (July 11, 2014) - Texas Legends Care (a 501c3 non-profit organization), presented by Ryan, LLC, will host three youth basketball clinics for boys and girls between the ages of 7 and 18 at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Las Vegas, Nevada. The clinics, intended for under-privileged youth in the Las Vegas area, will be presented by InTouch Credit Union and include visits by Dallas Mavericks General Manager and Texas Legends Owner Donnie Nelson.
This will be the second year Texas Legends Care hosts the clinic in Las Vegas during the NBA Summer League. The youth will go through drills, participate in contests and execute the skills they are learning in mini scrimmages. Last year, the clinic saw more than 100 participants, spurring the additional sessions to extend the opportunity to even more of the area youth.
"InTouch Credit Union is proud to participate in this mutually beneficial partnership," commented Sherry Cassidy, Assistant Vice President of Public Relations and Financial Education. "We are so appreciative of the opportunity to help provide a special moment in the lives of these young boys and girls."
