
Texas' Feron Hunt Signs with New Orleans Pelicans

FRISCO, TX - Texas Legends forward Feron Hunt has signed a 10-day contract with the New Orleans Pelicans via the NBA's hardship exception, the team announced today.
Hunt (6-8, 195, SMU) has appeared in 12 games for the Legends this season averaging 15.9 points, 4.6 rebounds, 1.8 assists, and 1.9 steals in 32.9 minutes per game. The Dallas native's career night came at the Winter Showcase Dec. 20th in the Legends' victory over the Westchester Knicks where he added 29 points, 5 rebounds, 2 steals, and 3 blocks.
Hunt appeared in 4 preseason games for the Dallas Mavericks earlier this year averaging 5.3 points, 1.8 rebounds, and 1.0 steal in 10.8 minutes per game.
The call-up is the third for the Legends this season and 27th in franchise history.
