Texas Brahmas Donate Teddy Bears To Special Cause

NORTH RICHLAND HILLS, Texas (December 12)- The Texas Brahmas have a special delivery for the Community Enrichment Center of North Richland Hills for Saturday, December 15.

Teddy bears were collected during the Teddy Bear Toss at the December 8th game against the Amarillo Gorillas. After the Brahmas first goal, hundreds of teddy bears were thrown onto the ice by Brahmas fans.

The Texas Brahmas will deliver the bears to the Community Enrichment Center on behalf of North Hills Hospital. These bears will be given to underprivileged children at the Richland Hills Church of Christ Christmas event (6300 NE Loop 820). The event will begin at 10:00 AM and continue until 2:00 PM.

Brahmas players Greg McConnell and defenseman Tim Laurila will be on hand at the event to pass out bears from 11:00 AM-12:00 PM.

The Community Enrichment Center and Open Arms Home provide transitional housing for homeless families and victims of domestic violence, groceries for low-income families, Seniors Network, Single Parent Family Network and Second Glance Resale Shops.

The Texas Brahmas would like to thank all the participants in the Teddy Bear Toss for contributing to this event.
