Terry Assigned to AHL for Conditioning Stint

RALEIGH, NC - Ron Francis, Executive Vice President and General Manager of the National Hockey League's Carolina Hurricanes, today announced that forward Chris Terry has been assigned to the Charlotte Checkers of the American Hockey League (AHL) on a conditioning stint.

Terry, 25, has totaled four goals and three assists (7 points) in 17 NHL games this season with the Hurricanes. The Brampton, Ont., native ranked tied for sixth in the AHL in scoring in 2013-14 with a career-high 69 points (28g, 41a) in 70 games. Selected by the Hurricanes in the fifth round (132nd overall) of the 2007 NHL Entry Draft, Terry has totaled five goals and five assists (10 points) in 30 career NHL games with Carolina.
