Friday, Nov. 21: Manchester 3, Binghamton 4 (OT)
Shots: Manchester 42, Binghamton 32
PP: Manchester 2 for 3, Binghamton 2 for 5
The B-Sens picked up a 4-3 overtime victory over the visiting Manchester Monarchs in a game where the teams combined for 130 penalty minutes.
Mike Sdao scored his first marker of the year 3:24 into first period to give the hosts the 1-0 lead. Just 25 seconds later, Nick Shore added to his team lead in goals beating Andrew Hammond to even the scoreboard 1-1. The teams traded power-play tallies before the end of the period making it 2-2 heading into intermission.
Chris Wideman knocked home his fifth power-play strike of the season 6:25 into the second to give Binghamton a 3-2 advantage heading into the final period of regulation.
Shore forced the overtime period with his second of the night when he beat Andrew Hammond 5:50 into the third.
Shane Prince forced a turnover in the neutral zone and started a 3-on-2 rush into the Monarchs zone. Prince carried the puck to the faceoff circles before sending a drop pass to a trailing Wideman. Wideman sent a wrist shot toward the crease that Ryan Dzingel redirected past Manchester's Jean-Francois Berube for his first professional game-winning goal.
Both Schneider and Wideman finished with a goal and an assist to lead Binghamton offensively. Hammond stopped 39 of 42 shots faced for the win while Berube allowed four goals on 32 shots in the losing effort.

PP: Albany 0 for 5, Binghamton 1 for 2
Binghamton earned its first back-to-back victories of the 2014-15 regular season in dominating fashion knocking off the visiting Albany Devils 7-0. Derek Grant, one of six B-Sens goal scorers, lit the lamp twice while Hammond stone-walled all 31 Devils shots for his second professional shutout.
Grant opened the scoring 12:04 into the first period off assists from Matt Puempel and Fredrik Claesson. Garrett Thompson notched his second goal of the season less than one minute later to give Binghamton a 2-0 lead after 20 minutes of play.
Binghamton used four second period goals to break the game wide open. Patrick Mullen made it a 3-0 lead just shy of the five-minute mark of the middle frame when he beat starting Devil's goaltender Scott Wedgewood on the power play. Wideman recorded his tenth goal of the year just past the midway point of the period before Carter Camper knocked home his second of the season to make it 5-0 B-Sens heading into the third.
Grant notched his second of the night 2:54 into the third before Jean-Gabriel Pageau scored a short-handed tally with less than a minute to play to move the final score to 7-0.
Keith Kinkaid, who started the third period in goal for Albany, allowed two goals on ten shots faced while Wedgewood surrendered five goals on 24 shots.
Seven skaters registered two-point nights for Binghamton.
